History

TAP Information Services, founded in June 2003, is headquartered in beautiful Blue Springs, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. TAP Information provides a wide variety of high quality planning, consulting, research, and assessment services supporting libraries, consortia, government agencies, associations, publishers, and other information organizations.

Tom Peters has been an academic librarian for 17 years. He has worked on many projects involving team members from academic, public, special, and governmental libraries. He also has worked with publishers, vendors, and technology companies on a variety of development and testing projects. Tom's areas of interest and specialization include library management, top technology trends, e-books and e-publishing, digital talking books, print-impaired library users, collection management, and digital library services.
